The flood information provided in the Flood Awareness Map is sourced from flood studies and models endorsed by Council.

To use the map
- Navigate to your desired location by clicking, dragging or scrolling on the map OR you can search for an address in the top left-hand corner.
- The layers and legend information are located on the top right-hand corner of the screen.
- Click on a layer in the map for more detailed information.

If you require more information or clarification about the Flood Awareness Map please submit your enquiry to kc@kingborough.tas.gov.au marked to the attention of the Stormwater Unit, and your enquiry will be responded to within 10 working days. Council does not issue individual site specific flood reports.
Council is currently undertaking flood studies for the Coffee Creek catchment and Margate Rivulet catchment. The resulting information from these studies will be available on the interactive flood awareness map after finalisation and endorsement by Council.
