RESERVEDenison Reserve
LOCATIONKingston
DESCRIPTIONDenison Reserve stands as a living snapshot of Kingston's pre-development native vegetation, boasting a rare and threatened Eucalyptus amygdalina (black peppermint) forest and sandstone woodland ecosystem. This unique landscape, influenced by historical clearing and ongoing development pressures, harbors a diverse array of plant species interacting harmoniously within the environment. Dominated by majestic black peppermint trees, the reserve bursts into a spectacular display of blooms during spring and summer, with understorey shrubs including silver banksia, common teatree, smoky teatree, erect currantbush, and scented paperbark contributing to its vibrant and biodiverse ecosystem.
