Street Trading Permit Application

  • When to use this form

    Please use this form to apply for a street trading permit, which includes on-street dining, vending and signage on Council footpaths.

  • An annual per square metre fee applies to street trading. A set fee applies per footpath sign. The current fees are listed in the annual Council Fees & Charges Schedule.

  • Proposed occupancy limit of the street trading area (if applicable)
  • Please detail proposed furniture and equipment (e.g. size, materials, colours of chairs, umbrellas, screens...)
  • Please describe the location and dimensions of the proposed street trading area
  • Please provide the total m2 size of the proposed trading area
  • Please upload a scale site plan of your footpath trading area with all setbacks clearly defined. Note this permit only applies to Council road reservations.

  • If you plan for alcohol to be consumed in the street trading area, please attach evidence of a valid liquor license, which incorporates the proposed footpath trading area.
