Kingborough Bicycle Advisory Committee

The Committee provides advice and assistance to Council on cycling issues and advocates for better facilities and improved safety for cyclists, as well as encouraging and promoting cycling in Kingborough for transport and recreation.

Chairperson – Cr Amanda Midgley

Deputy Chairperson – Cr David Bain

The Committee includes representatives from Cycling South and the Bicycle Network Tasmania.

Community Members: David Bonny, Damien Delvin, Mark Donnellon, Michael Holloway, Eddie Jager, Kelvin Lewis, David McQuillan, Rob Sheers.

Meetings are usually held on a Friday morning on a bi-monthly basis.

Cycling Strategy

The Committee have worked with staff and a transport consultant to develop a Cycling Strategy for Kingborough. The strategy was endorsed by Council on 21 February 2022.
