Our experienced instructor, Mansi, will guide you through the principles of painting - including color theory, composition, and brushwork.

We will cover topics such as using light and shadow to create depth and drama, capturing the colors and textures, and experimenting with different brushstrokes and techniques to create stunning effects.

Beginners and those looking to refresh their watercolor painting skills are welcome!

There will be a variety of reference images to choose from or bring along an image on your phone or printed out.

You can bring your own art materials, but we will have some brushes, paints and watercolour paper available.

This workshop is suitable for anyone who's ever wanted to write a song but doesn't know where to start as well as experienced songwriters who are interested in different songwriting techniques.

Northern lutruwita/Tasmanian musician and song writer Rose Turtle Ertler will lead you through various fun exercises looking at lyric & melody writing and song structure.

Everyone will work on their own song and will end up with at least the bones of a new song.

Rose will show you some tricks that have helped her along the way.

BYO instrument (if you don't play an instrument, you can also just use your voice - which is also an instrument!)

Recommended age is 16 years and up.
