Visible Mending

About this event
Bring along your ripped, torn and distressed garments and learn the art of visible mending.
We will teach you a variety of techniques including Japanese Sachiko, free-motion darning, embroidery and applique to cover holes and bring new life to your favourite clothing.

Frangipani Fabrics is a community minded fabric shop and Sewing School in North Hobart. We are Tasmania’s leading Sewing School and have sewing class nearly every day of the week in our sunny studio – our Sew Anything and Kid’s Classes (including Birthday Party Classes) are very popular, and beginners are always welcome (even if you’ve never sewn a stitch!)
