Events that are being held on Council owned or managed land require a permit. You may be required to fill out applications forms depending on your event.

The Great Kingborough Bake Off

Bake your own cake at home and enter for the chance to win prizes!
Celebrate the Tas Pride Summer Festival with us and come along for a cuppa and vote for your favourite cake design.
Categories and prizes:
- Under 12’s – Decorated cupcake (open theme) – Pancake Train voucher $100
- 12- 18 year’s – Decorated cake of choice with a Rainbow theme – Minimax voucher $200
- Open award – Pride theme – Minimax voucher $500
- People’s Choice – Salty Dog voucher $100
The closing date for applications will be Friday, 7th February at 5pm.
This is an all-inclusive community event. Please note that we require a certain number of entries for this event go to ahead.
Free tea and coffee will be available.
Our 2024 winner Heather Laverne will have a cake stall with items for sale.
