Peggys Beach Reserve Nature Walk

February 25 @ 12:20 pm - 2:30 pm

Free

Nestled along Electrona’s coastline, Peggys Beach Reserve offers a serene coastal retreat.

Join Nicole King (Council) and Bridget Jupe (Council) for a guided nature walk where you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the land. We begin with an Acknowledgement of Country, honoring the traditional custodians and their connection to this place.

From a First Nations perspective, you’ll learn about the rich plant life within the reserve, including traditional knowledge of native plants and their uses. As we journey through the landscape, you’ll also uncover the history of the reserve and explore how it has been used and cared for over the ages.

Bookings Essential: Please email Nicole King as spaces are limited – nking@kingborough.tas.gov.au

  • Where: Peggy’s Beach Reserve, Electrona, Dickson Street entrance.
