DESCRIPTION | Past Burnaby Drive lies Nierinna Creek Reserve, offering a serene spot for rest or picnics. Previously restored with revegetation efforts focusing on its Black gum (Eucalyptus ovata) forest, the reserve features a lush understorey creating a haven for the local wildlife. Enjoy a picnic at the designated area, complete with tables, while admiring the mature Black and White gums bordering the bird watching dam at each end. Continue your nature exploration along Nierinna Creek Track – a vigorous walk that meanders through green grassland, natural bushland and shade fern gullies. Horses and bikes are permitted the entire length of the track however the top section is recommended for experienced riders only. | |
