Preloved Clothing Market

Following the overwhelming success of Kingborough Community Hub’s first ever Preloved Clothing Market, another market will take place on Saturday 16 November from 10am – 2pm in the Kingborough Community Hub.

The Acting Mayor, Clare Glade-Wright said the market was set to be even bigger and better than the first one.

“Stallholders have indicated that they will be selling a range of designer brands as well as vintage originals so there’ll be something for everybody,” Cr Glade-Wright said.

“The final hour of many markets is traditionally quite quiet so we’ve introduced a happy hour between 1pm and 2pm, where many stallholders will drastically reduce the price of their remaining items.

“This market encourages sustainable fashion through the rejuvenation of great quality clothes.

“To meet the overwhelming community demand for this market, Council intends to make the Preloved Clothing Market a quarterly event.
