Kingborough Council is hosting a photography competition and exhibition titled YOU ARE HERE at the Kingborough Community Hub on Thursday 27, Friday 28, and Saturday 29 June 2024.
The competition is open to Kingborough residents, with two categories to enter: Under 18 years, and Adults. Prizes include a $500 first prize (adults), a $200 first prize (under 18 years) and People’s Choice award of $100.
Mayor, Paula Wriedt said entrants we’re encouraged to be creative and address the theme ‘You Are Here’.
“We want entrants to submit 1-3 photographs telling a story about themselves, their family, culture, history or where they live,” Cr Wriedt said.
The NEW submission deadline is Friday 21 June 2024.
