The Kingborough Community Hub is gearing up for some huge events and activities over March this year.
The Mayor, Paula Wriedt said on March 11, the Eight Hour public holiday, A Day at the Park returns and promises to be even bigger than last year.
“There will be music by the Australian Navy Band as well as a lineup of multicultural performers, train rides for children, free face painting and circus skills with the Sands family.
“Our growing multicultural community will be celebrated on Harmony Day Friday 22 March with Indian dancing, Arabic calligraphy, authentic multicultural cuisine and more.
“On Sunday March 24, Art Screen Events will be back as part of their 3 month ‘Stage and Screen’ festival.
“The festival will feature the award winning ‘Past Lives’ at 2pm and the National Theatre Live’s incredible ‘Vanya’ at 4pm.
