The South Channel’s older residents were recently treated to a fun and insightful performance by the irrepressible Act Your Age theatre group.
Act Your Age take their fun seriously and audience members are always the happy recipients.
Their vaudeville style performance reminds people of the funny and familiar aspects of ageing, through skits, dancing and by belting out some favourite old songs. All real crowd pleasers!
The group is made up of theatre enthusiasts and has been performing in various formations since 2008 – they know what they’re doing and clearly love what they do.
The performance was supported by Kingborough Council’s Positive Ageing Program.
